Examen "PECB ISO 27001 - Lead Implementer | Master ISMS Implementation"

The candidate is evaluated on the seven competency domains that make up the certification:

• Domain 1: Fundamental Principles and Concepts of Information Security Management
  Main Objective: Ensure that the candidate for the PECB ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer certification understands, interprets, and applies the key concepts of Information Security Management (ISMS).
• Domain 2: ISMS Best Practices According to ISO/IEC 27001
  Main Objective: Ensure that the candidate for the PECB ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer certification can understand, interpret, and provide guidance on implementing and managing the requirements of Information Security Management based on ISO/IEC 27001 best practices.
• Domain 3: Planning an ISMS in Compliance with ISO/IEC 27001
  Main Objective: Ensure that the candidate for the PECB ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer certification is capable of planning the implementation of an ISMS in preparation for PECB ISO/IEC 27001 certification.
• Domain 4: Implementing an ISMS in Compliance with ISO/IEC 27001
  Main Objective: Ensure that the candidate for the PECB ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer certification can implement the processes of an ISMS required for PECB ISO/IEC 27001 certification.
• Domain 5: Performance Evaluation, Monitoring, and Measurement of an ISMS
  Main Objective: Ensure that the candidate for the PECB ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer certification is able to evaluate, monitor, and measure the performance of an ISMS in the context of PECB ISO/IEC 27001 certification.
• Domain 6: Continuous Improvement of an ISMS in Accordance with ISO/IEC 27001
  Main Objective: Ensure that the candidate for the PECB ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer certification can provide advice for the continuous improvement of an ISMS in compliance with ISO/IEC 27001.
• Domain 7: Preparing for the ISMS Certification Audit
  Main Objective: Ensure that the candidate for the PECB ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer certification can prepare and support an organization in achieving ISMS certification in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001.

Duration : 3 hours
Location : Online  through the PECB app OR in person in one of the  PECB exam centers
Preparation:  PECB Exam Preparation Guides
Language : The exam is available in multiple other languages and does not need to be taken in the same language as the training material. Additional time can be requested when your native language is not available in your mother tongue (to be requested by candidates on the exam day)
Retake : In case you fail the exam, you can retake it within 12 months following the initial attempt for free

Certification "PECB ISO 27001 - Lead Implementer | Master ISMS Implementation"

After successfully passing the exam, you can apply for one of the credentials shown below. You will receive the certificate once you comply with all the requirements related to the selected credential. For more information about ISO/IEC 27001 certifications and the PECB certification process, please refer to the Certification Rules and Policies.

The ISMS project experience should follow best implementation practices and include the following activities: 

1. Drafting an ISMS implementation business case
2. Managing an ISMS implementation project
3. Implementing the ISMS 
4. Managing documented information
5. Implementing corrective actions
6. Monitoring the ISMS performance
7. Managing an ISMS implementation team

Note : PECB certified individuals who possess Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor credentials are qualified for the respective PECB Master credential, given that they have taken four additional Foundation exams related to this scheme. • This training is based on both theory and best practices used in the implementation of an SMSI
• Lecture sessions are illustrated with examples based on case studies
• Practical exercises are based on a case study which includes role playing and discussions
• Practice tests are similar to the Certification Exam

• Certification fees are included in the exam price
• Training material containing over 400 pages of information and practical examples will be distributed
• A participation certificate of 31 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) credits will be issued
• In case of exam failure, you can retake the exam within 12 months free of charge
